Four Days Later
Meg stood outside her jet doing some final checks before walking back over to Alex and Zander.
-
Josh glanced over from where he was at the hanger bay, wanting to say goodbye.

Grace jogged down the path slowly.
-
Alek stepped back through the door after being away.

Alex smiled and watched her, shifting Zander in his arms, "all set?"

April stood beside him, taking his hand gently.
-
Dec walked through the apartment, sitting on the sofa.
-
Emily shifted from where she was half asleep in the sofa, Belle curled up in her mother's arms, fast asleep.

Meg nodded, "Yeah." She said and looked at them.

Josh squeezed her hand gently.

Grace jumped back into the apartment.

Alek smiled and watched them.

Kara shifted around the apartment awkwardly on the one crutch, her arm still up tight against her.

Alex smiled and touched her cheek gently.

April rested her head against his shoulder and glanced out ahead.

Dec looked over then smiled, "hey trouble."

Emily shifted and opened her eyes then blinked and smiled, "hey you." She said lightly.

Ben walked out the bedroom and looked over at her, smiling lightly.

Grace giggled lightly, "Hi."

Alek grinned at her, "Hey."

Kara sat down on the sofa, sighing softly.

Alex returned her kiss gently.

April smiled softly and bit her lip.

Dec chuckled, "you have fun?"

Emily smiled and nudged Belle gently, "Belle."
Belle grumbled and shifted, "sleep." She whined and opened her eyes then grinned brightly, "daddy!"

"You okay?" Ben asked softly, putting a hand on her shoulder gently as he neared.

Alek grinned and picked her up.

Kara smiled, "Yeah. Just frustrated at this." She pouted.

Dec chuckled and looked at her.

Belle hugged her father tightly.
Emily smiled and sat up.

Ben chuckled, "that'll teach you to find another way to have me drag you back home." He said playfully, kissing her neck gently.

Meg smiled and kissed him quickly and then looking at Zander, "I'll be home soon, sweetie." She said softly, kissing the top of his head.
"Mummy have to go?" He asked innocently.
Meg nodded softly.

Josh nodded, "Yeah, just gunna go say bye."

Alek smiled and went and sat next to Emily.

Kara giggled, "True."

Alex smiled, "she'll be home before you know it." He said and kissed the side of his head gently, "you're stuck with me till then."

April nodded, letting go of his hand silently.

Emily smiled and kissed his cheek gently, "welcome home." She said lightly.

Ben grinned and sat next to her.

Meg watched them for a moment and then glanced at Josh.
He smiled as he stepped up to her, "Good luck out there." He said softly and hugged her gently.
"I'll bring back a present for you." She said playfully as they parted.

Meg turned back to Alex, kissing him quickly and then kissing Zander's head before jumping in the jet.
Josh watched and sighed softly.

Jeff stepped into the hanger bay after dropping the kids into school, watching Meg get ready to leave.

Alek smiled and leaned over, kissing her gently.

Grace smiled and sat back on the sofa.

Kara smiled, "Havnt you got work?" She said lightly.
