Josh started his pre-flight checks, mind wandering to April.

Downstairs the jump team was getting ready.

Kara stroked his cheek, "How long have you been getting them?"

Rhiann bit her lip slightly as she worked, glancing around.

"I lost track of when the first was," Ben said and kissed her palm gently.

Josh sighed soflty and requested clearence for take off.

Kara bit her lip, "I think you should see a doctor Ben. Please?"

Rhiann glanced across as they were granted clearance, she looked back ahead.

Ben shook his head, "it's just a headache, Kara. Everyone gets them."

Josh pulled the plane onto the runway, prepping for take off.

Kara bit her lip, "Please, Ben?" She asked softly.

Rhiann glanced out, "ready when you are."

Ben sighed, "this is why I didn't tell you." He said softly, "you're worrying too much."

Alex bit his lip as the doctor came in, "I think it's started."
"No," April said stubbornly and groaned. "Not when he's not here."
"You don't have a choice, April," Alex said and kissed the side of her head.

Josh nodded and thrusted the plane forward, soon in the air. He did a quick radio check and started on the route despite wanting to take short cuts.

Rhiann glanced out then down at the controls silently.

Ben shook his head and kissed her forehead silently before closing his eyes.

April bit her lip, "dad I'm scared."
Alex smiled and moved to perch on the bed, putting an arm around her, he held both her hands, "don't be." He said softly.
"You need to push," the doctor said.
April bit her lip then groaned and pushed, holding her father's hands tightly.

Josh glanced over at her, "This feels so wrong." He said softly, "I should be with my wife."

"I know," Rhiann said softly. "But you're the only one that can do this."

Ben wrapped his arms around her gently, "I love you." He said softly.

April buried her head in her father's side, crying out as she pushed one last time.
The doctor smiled and handed the baby to the nurse, "it's a girl." He said and turned back to April, "and it looks like you're not done yet."
April blinked and looked up, "what?" She asked and groaned, "there's only supposed to be one!"

"If you want," Rhiann said softly. "But you'll be back with April before you know it."

Ben smiled and rubbed her side gently.

Alex kissed the top of her head gently and closed his eyes as April cried out again, pushing.

Ben rested his forehead against hers gently, opening his eyes.

April fell back against the bed as the doctor handed the second baby to the nurse, "no more." She complained.
The doctor chuckled, "that's all of them." He said, "you've got two healthy baby girls."

Josh pulled the plane strait and level as the doors opened and one by one the team jumped out. His part of the exercise was now over and he turned the plane back to base.
