Kara was awake early the next day, tiding the house before Ben's family arrived.

Lieutenant Matt Yates and Lieutenant Chloe Henderson stepped off the flight that had just arrived to the naval air station in Cairns. Both had just returned from a six month carrier deployment but did not know each other too well. After checking in they went to their base apartments.

Grace shifted in bed, yawning slightly.

Meg was up and getting Zander fed silently.

"They're not gonna care too much if the place is a mess," Ben complained lightly as he passed her.

Dec glanced out the kitchen window, leaning against the counter silently.

Alex grumbled to himself as he stretched before sitting up on the bed, rubbing his forehead.

Kara smiled, "I like to make a good first impression." She said with a giggle.

Grace pulled herself out of bed, pulling a towel around her body before stepping out into the kitchen.

Meg put Zander's plate in the dishwasher, telling him to go get dressed before stepping back into the bedroom.

Ben smiled and wrapped his arms around her waist from behind and kissed the back of her head, "you will. With or without a clean apartment." He said lightly.

Dec looked over at her then smiled, "morning." He said lightly.

Alex glanced up then smiled, resisting a yawn.

Kara giggled lightly and turned in his arms so she was facing him, "But they might think you're a slob." She said with a giggle.

Grace smiled, "Morning." She said and poured herself some coffee, yawning slightly.

Meg smiled and sat on the edge of the bed, "Did you sleep alright?"

Kara giggled again, "Fine, they might think your slobbiness has made me a slob." She said and touched his cheek.

Grace smiled and took a sip of her coffee before setting it down on the counter.

Meg nodded and kissed him gently.

Ben grinned then patted her hip gently, "suppose nows the time to say they'll be here any minute." He said lightly and kissed her palm.

Meg smiled against his lips lightly, "You've got pilots to meet in a few hours."

Alex chuckled and nodded, "which I now hate doing." He complained, "the last time I had to go off and meet new pilots, I ended up having sex with one and the other ran off with my daughter." He said lightly, poking her leg playfully.

Meg grinned, "I'm five months pregnant. I dont think any flyboy will be hitting on me...and if they do they'll probably know you'll kill them."

Ben groaned and squirmed, pulling her shirt off gently, he kissed her neck lightly.

Dec nodded slightly, "yeah." He said quietly.
