"Good," Rhiann said and grumbled. "Stop being so negative."

Dec walked up, knocking on the door.
Emily sighed, "go away." She called, lifting Belle up gently.
Dec grumbled and opened the door, "Em?"
Emily looked back at him, on the verge of tears.
-
Roxy sighed softly and waved a hand, looking at the ground.
-
Alex blinked as he opened the door, "what are you doing here?"
"Love you too dad," April complained. "You heard about the team?"
Alex tilted his head, letting her in, "what?"'
"They've gone missing. Josh called, the whole team are gone."

Josh sighed, "I've seen too many SEAL teams not make it home."

Jeff bit his lip slightly.

Kara put a hand on her shoulder gently.

Meg's head snapped up as she heard the news.

"This isn't your average SEAL team," Rhiann said.

"Belle, can you go to your room for a little while?" Dec asked softly.
Belle pouted and nodded, running into her room.

Roxy sighed, "he better come home."

Alex blinked slightly, "everyone?"
April nodded, "they've been missing long enough to be classed as MIA."

Josh nodded, "I know."

Jeff watched Belle and looked back at Emily, walking over and putting a hand on her shoulder.

Kara nodded, "He will. They all will."

Meg blinked, "Oh God." She said softly and looked outside.

Rhiann looked at him then out ahead.

Emily sighed and bit her lip, "what if he doesn't come home?"

Roxy nodded slightly, "I hope so."

Alex sighed and closed his eyes.

Josh closed his eyes.

Jeff smiled, "He will come back, Emily. Dec and I bet Grace is dragging them all out now."

Kara smiled and nodded.

Meg bit her lip slightly and finished cleaning up the kitchen.

Rhiann leaned her head back, biting her lip.

Emily sighed and bit her lip, rubbing her eyes.

Roxy smiled lightly, glancing around, "where's Ben?"

Alex put a hand on April's shoulder gently, "thanks."
April nodded and opened the door, "I'm gonna go take the girls for a walk."
Alex nodded and watched her before looking at Meg.

Josh rubbed his forehead slightly.

Jeff glanced over at Dec briefly.

Kara smiled sadly, "He's got a bad headache. He's sleeping at the moment."

Rhiann sighed, "this waiting around is gonna kill me."

"Nothing's gonna stop him being here for your baby's birth, you know that," Dec said.
Emily sighed then nodded and smiled lightly.

"Oh," Roxy bit her lip slightly.

Alex walked over and took her hand gently.

Twelve Hours Later
Kara sat back on the sofa, glancing at Roxy as they waited but hope that the team would make it out was becoming dull.

Jeff put some food out for Belle, glancing over at Dec and Emily.
-
Josh rubbed his head as minutes ticked by and no news had come in.
-
Meg lay back on the sofa after putting Zander to bed, rubbing her stomach.

Roxy sighed heavily, "he's not coming back.. None of them are.."

Belle smiled, "thank you." She said innocently.
Emily stared out the window, wiping her eyes.
Dec sighed and rubbed her back gently, glancing at Jeff.

Rhiann sighed, "come on guys. Where are you?"

Alex flopped onto the chair, rubbing the back of his neck.

Kara bit her lip, "There's still a chance." She said softly.

Jeff smiled and stepped back into the main room and sat next to them.

Josh looked over at her, "They're not coming back." He said and buried his face in his hands.

Meg looked over at him, "They're not coming back are they?" She asked, her voice choking slightly.

Chloe stood outside on the grass and looked over at the flag that was flying at half mast.

Emily sighed and leaned her head back, closing her eyes.

Rhiann put a hand on his shoulder, "they are. They have to."

Alex sighed and shook his head, "it doesn't look like it."

Zoe walked up beside her and glanced at the flag then at Chloe silently.

Kara bit her lip, "I have to check on Ben." She said softly and squeezed Roxy's shoulder on the way past. She stepped into the bedroom and sat on the edge of the bed quietly.

Jeff looked outside.

Josh sighed and stood up, getting out of the plane and looking out on the horizon.

Meg rubbed her face slightly.

Chloe sighed, "This is a real good way to start a new posting."
