Kara rested her head on his shoulder, closing her eyes.

Meg shook her head again slightly.

Grace bit her lip slightly, "That's what worries me." She said softly, "If I dont come home, he's not going to ask for help."

Ben bit his lip and looked up at the roof, his thoughts drifting to the operation he was soon going to have.

Alex grinned, "oh she wasn't that bad." He said lightly.
"Oh dear god, you were an ass to her, weren't you," April complained.

"He'll get help," Emily smiled. "Grace, when you two are gone, he's amazing. He's such a rock for me and Belle.. If you never came home, I'd make damn sure he got help and that he is okay."

Kara bit her lip, knowing what Ben was thinking, it was the same thing on her mind.

Meg nodded, "I thought she was going to have a heart attack."

Ben sighed and pulled her close, rubbing her sides gently.

"Oh, she was asking for it," Alex complained lightly.

Kara looked up at him and kissed him gently.

Meg took Alex's hand gently, "She'll be gone in three weeks."

Grace smiled and looked at her, "Not that I'll be going back out any time soon." She said lightly.

Ben returned her kiss gently, touching her cheek.

"Three weeks?" Alex complained, "that's ages."
April giggled and patted his shoulder, walking to Josh.

One Week Later
Kara sat in the hospital waiting room to hear the news of Ben's surgery. She'd been there to drop him off, was in the OR when he went to sleep, squeezing his hand gently and now she waited silently.

Ryan returned from a jog and stepped into the hanger bay.
-
Meg glanced over as she stepped back into the apartment, Zander following. She looked around and sniffed, stepping into the kitchen, "Are you making cookies?" She questioned her mother.

Grace lay back on the bed sighing softly, getting bored of sitting around.

"What's taking so long?" Eleanore sighed, leaning forwards in her chair.
"They're not operating on his leg, El, it's going to take a while," Harrison said from the doorway.

Roxy leaned forwards against the chair slightly, watching Zoe as she worked in her jet.

Alex leaned back on the sofa, flicking through a few folders silently.

Dec walked into the apartment and glanced around.

Kara looked up at Harrison and chuckled at his matter of fact comment.

Ryan glanced over and watched Roxy for a moment, grinning lightly.
Chloe stepped over to the other girls and smiled, "What are you doing, Zoe?" She asked lightly and nudged Roxy slightly.

Sue turned, "Your apartment is bare. You need more flavor. More food."
Meg rolled her eyes and turned, "My thighs dont." She said lightly.
Zander ran into the living room and jumped on Alex.

Grace looked over at Dec and smiled.

Harrison smiled and walked over, sitting next to Kara silently.
"I know," Ellie pouted. "But it's been half a day already."
Harrison nodded then glanced up as a doctor stepped in the room.

Roxy giggled playfully, "she's hiding."
"I am not," Zoe pouted and poked her head out. "I'm working."
"You never work when you can be hanging off your new boyfriend," Roxy said playfully.

Alex grinned and looked at Zander, "hey buddy."

Dec smiled and flopped next to her, "hi."

Zander grinned, "Daddy....the weird lady is making cookies."

"Is he okay?" Ellie asked, biting her lip.
The doctor sighed and shook his head slightly, "we got the tumor out and it seems to be all clear now."
"But..?" Harrison tilted his head.
"He's slipped into a coma."

Zoe blushed brightly.
"She's in looooooooooove," Roxy giggled.
"Shut up, we haven't said any of that yet," Zoe pouted.
Roxy giggled to herself, glancing back to give Ryan a wave.

"I know mate," Alex said lightly. "Just hide out here with me and we'll be okay."

Dec smiled and kissed her cheek, "how you feeling?"
