Zoe smiled, glancing around the controls.

Ben grinned lightly and kissed her palm gently.

Alex chuckled and nodded then smiled, "lucky her."

Ellie smiled as she took the paper, "thanks, Jack." She said softly.

"Sulking as usual," Dec said lightly. "She's coping better than she has been though."

Harrison bit his lip and sighed, "she's been helping some new techs that joined in the new year." He said, "a few of them mistook her friendliness as something else.. One evening I came back and they were trying to.." He shook his head, "I got her out of there but last I heard they weren't finished."

Rhiann giggled softly, "there's no such thing with our kids."

Chloe started on the flight path and glanced at Zoe. She got on the intercom, "All occupants were have reached our cruising altitude you may take off you seat belts." She said and looked back at Zoe, "Has Matt been writing?"

Jeff chuckled lightly and nodded.

Jack smiled, "That's okay."

Grace smiled, "That's good. Hey Dec, there's a letter with her...just in case." She said softly "And I know you dont want to talk about it, but you need to know."

Matt's eyes grew furious, "I'll kill them."

Meg giggled lightly.

Zoe smiled and nodded slightly, "occasionally." She said lightly, "I must admit I'm slower at replying," she giggled.

Dec sighed, "Grace.." He complained quietly.

Chloe grinned, "Keep him guessing." She said lightly, "I've written Harrison three times." She sighed, "No replies."

Kara smiled and sat up, kissing him quickly.

Jeff looked out the window.

Grace bit her lip, "There is that chance." She whispered, "I got lucky last time."

Matt shook his head, "I'll talk to her when they get here."

10 Hours Later
Chloe glanced at the RADAR on the plane. They were now flying over enemy territory and had to be mindful. She was also in contact with a survey plane that would let her know if anyone on the ground was trying to shoot.

Matt sat out next to the runway. The sun was just starting to rise and he knew Zoe would be landing soon.
-
Meg was having breakfast silently in the rec room.

Zoe glanced down then out as they flew, biting her lip slightly.

Chloe took a deep breath, releasing it slowly, "Australian aircraft! Break left! Triple AAA's in the air!" Chloe blinked and grabbed the throttle, turning the plane sharply. She felt the explosion of the missile nearly as the plane jolted.

In the back Jeff blinked and held onto his seat tightly.

Meg nodded, "Yeah."

Matt looked into the distance and he saw the AAA explode, praying it wasnt aimed at Zoe's plane.

Zoe blinked a few times, "shit." She whispered.

Alex groaned slightly, glancing out the window slightly.

Rhiann smiled, "then I get left all alone." She complained playfully.

Harrison glanced up as he walked up next to Matt silently.

Chloe groaned slightly as she pulled the plane strait again, "Damage assessment." She said looking around the plane, listing the damage to flight control. She was also declaring an emergency landing.
Chloe looked at Zoe, "It'll be okay."

Jeff sighed, "Shit."

Meg pet her head playfully.

Matt looked around as the emergency trucks were launched, "I think they were shot at."

Harrison sighed, "it was bound to happen. Just hope they're okay." He said.

Chloe nodded as she prepared the plane for the landing. "Landing gears down." She said and glanced at the camera that was meant to show the wheels going down but it was broken, "I'm not sure if we have landing." She said and lowered the plane, "But we're out of fuel. No way we can go around again."

Jeff sat back and sighed.

Meg smiled, "Gunna come out?"

Matt nodded and bit his lip, "They're good pilots."

Chloe approached the runway, holding the plane steady. They landed hard but the landing gears were all there. She pulled on the brakes, hoping they were working and relieved they were. She sighed softly as the plane stopped and pulled into taxi.

Jeff sighed with relief.

Meg walked out, looking over at the plane.

Matt sighed with relief, "Good job girls." He whispered to himself.
