Meg grinned as Riley splashed the water about slightly. After bathing him she wrapped him up in a blanket and brought him upstairs to bed.

Grace giggled lightly.

Matt smiled softly and squeezed her hand, keeping half an eye on Harrison.

Kara kissed him quickly before jumping into the car.

Alex glanced out the window, biting his lip lightly.

"Stop watching him," Zoe said softly, looking at him.

Ben smiled and walked around, getting in the car, he started the engine.

14 Hours Later
Matt yawned slightly as he arrived at work at 0500 to prep for a flight. The building was pretty much empty but he enjoyed arriving early for early flights.

Chloe flew her jet strait forward, so far it had been a quiet and easy flight.

Harrison sat in the rec room, quirking a grin lightly at the blonde beside him as she put a hand on his leg.

April glanced out the window then ahead, thankful for the peaceful flight so far.

Matt went through his locker silently, trying to shake the tired feeling.

Chloe bit her lip as she heard something beep but it was soon gone, "Talon 1, did you see that?" She asked April, unsure if it was her mind playing tricks on her.

Harrison shifted and took her hand, glancing around the empty room, he leaned in and kissed the blonde gently.

"I saw it," April said and glanced around. "Keep your eyes open, I don't think we're alone."

Matt pulled on his flight suit, doing up the straps silently. He grinned lightly as he saw the picture of Zoe on his locker. He'd left her a flower and a short I love you note on the pillow when he'd left.

"Copy that, ma'am." Chloe said, shifting in her seat slightly.

Matt shut the locker silently and put on the padlock. He grabbed his helmet before making his way to the rec room.

Chloe heard a crackle over the radio, "Talon's ... break! AAA." Chloe blinked and turned her jet sharply, trying to avoid the ground to air missiles.

Harrison grinned, "no one's ever here this early." He said, his hands wandering.

Matt cursed slightly when he realised he'd forgotten his notebook and ran back to the locker room to grab it. He sighed softly as he got it from the locker and headed back down, yawning again softly, just wanting to be home and snuggled up with Zoe. He smiled as he tossed a few ideas around in his head. He wanted to take her away from a romantic weekend. He was ready to pop the question and wanted it to be special.

Chloe blinked slightly as the missile came past them. She relaxed slightly and then felt and explosion in her wing. One had got her. She tried to stead the plane, checking the damage of her port wing, seeing if it was possible to get back to base, "Talon 2 is hit, repeat I am hit."

Harrison shifted the blonde onto the sofa, moving ontop as he unbuttoned her shirt quickly.

April blinked a few times, "damnit." She muttered, she turned her jet then blinked as the impact from a missile shook her jet, she looked out then blinked. "Tal-" she cut off as he jet shook uncontrollably, spiraling towards the ground.

Matt stepped into the rec room and flicked on the lights, grunting as his eyes adjusted. He looked around and saw Harrison, blinking a few times.

Chloe glanced back at April's jet. She blinked a few times, "Talon 1 is down. Repeat Talon 1 is down and requiring immediate assistance. Talon 2 is..." Another siren went off, "I'm going down." She said, flicking the rescue button, "Requiring jumpers." She said referring to the pararescue jumpers who main job was to get downed pilots. She read out the coordinates before ejecting away from the jet just as it exploded.

Harrison blinked and lifted his head as the lights came on, he glanced over then blinked and sat up completely.

April groaned as her spun out of control, she shifted before ejecting, closing her eyes as the jet blew up a few minutes after.

Matt just stared for a moment, unable to believe it. He waved a hand slightly and walked back out.

Chloe pulled the chute and hit the ground hard. She bit her lips lightly as she lay there, trying to ignore the thumping feeling in her head.
