Jack followed her closely, worried about the whole situation.

Chloe walked forward, glancing around slightly as she crossed the road.
Josh glanced at her then at the road and blinked as he saw Chloe in front of the car. He hit the brakes quickly, avoiding her by a few centimeters. He blinked a few times, breathing heavily, "Are you okay?" He asked April and glanced back at the girls.

Meg rested her head on his shoulder.

Kara bit her lip as tears welled up in her eyes, "I can't leave you like this, Ben." She said softly, trying to take his hand.
-
Grace smiled and sipped her coffee.
-
Matt smiled and walked back out, heading home.

Ellie took his hand gently as she walked, knowing it wasn't that far to Ben and Kara's anyway.

April blinked slightly, nodding weakly then glanced at the girls, making sure they were okay, she undid her seat belt and got out the car, ignoring the pain in her ribs, "Chloe?"

Alex kissed the top of her head gently.

Ben moved his hand out the way and shook his head, "please, Kara."

Dec sipped his coffee, glancing out the window.
-
Harrison watched him then sat on the sofa, sighing heavily.

Jack followed quickly. He was worried for Chloe, but also worried for Kara.

Chloe looked at them, having to blink a few times to understand what had happened. She looked at April, "Sorry." She said softly and moved to cross the rest of the road. A horn sounded as she was clipped by another car and fell back. Josh blinked and ran up to her, dropping down, "You okay?" He asked.
Chloe jumped back up, "Leave me alone." She said and ran across the road when it was clear.
Josh blinked as he watched her.

Meg grinned lightly.

Kara watched him, trying not to seem afraid, "You said you wouldn't hit me, Ben. I trust you. Let me help." She whispered softly.

Grace moved to sit on the bench top, glancing outside.

Matt arrived home soon enough and sighed softly.

Ellie looked up at him then back ahead, biting her lip.

April blinked a few times, "Chloe?" She called and sighed, rubbing the side of her head.

Alex rubbed her side gently.

"Kara, you're making it worse, please, just go." Ben said and rubbed his forehead.

Dec smiled and put a hand on her leg gently.

Zoe glanced up as she walked out the bathroom, a towel wrapped around her.

Jack bit his lip as he glanced around.

Josh drove a bit further and parked. He got out and stopped Chloe as she walked past their car, "Lieutenant." He said firmly which caused her to stop. Josh glanced at April briefly.

Meg smiled softly.

Kara blinked back a few tears, but a few escaped and ran down her face. She took a step back and leaned against the door frame that entered the kitchen. She leaned on it and looked at the floor silently.

Grace grinned at him lightly.

Matt smiled softly at her.

April put a hand on his chest, "stay with the girls." She said and grabbed the crutches, making her way towards Chloe, "Chloe?"

"I love you," Alex said softly.

Ben closed his eyes for a moment then looked back out the window, glancing up as Ellie knocked on the door.

Dec grinned and finished his drink, putting the cup on the side, her petted her leg lightly.

Zoe smiled and ran a hand through her hair, walking over, "hey"

Chloe looked over at April silently.

Meg smiled, "I love you too."

Kara looked up as the door knocked but remained on the floor, unable to move.
Jack bit his lip slightly as they waited.

Grace smiled and kissed him gently.

Matt smiled, "Everything okay?"

April winced slightly, stopping near her, "what's up?"

Alex grinned and kissed her forehead.

"Go away," Ben called and rubbed his forehead.
Ellie grumbled and opened the door, stepping in, "nice try, Ben." She said and bit her lip, walking over to Kara before kneeling with her.

Dec returned her kiss gently.

Zoe nodded slightly, "Chloe's had a spot of trouble with Harrison." she said softly.

Chloe shook her head slightly, "It doesn't matter, ma'am. Go back and be with your family." She said quietly.

Meg giggled lightly.

Kara glanced at Ellie silently before looking back at the floor, her hands on her stomach.
Jack stood near the doorway, ready to step in if he needed to.

Grace touched his cheek gently as she kissed him.

Matt bit his lip, "I know. I've just seen Harrison."

April shook her head, "my family can wait." She said softly, "you saved my life out there, I owe you. What's happened?"

Alex rubbed her side, looking back out at the boys.

Ellie bit her lip, "has he..?"
"No, he hasn't," Ben complained and closed his eyes.
Ellie glanced back up, "good. Go punch a wall or something." She said and shifted as Ben walked past them, out onto the deck.

Dec put his hands on her hips gently.

Zoe sighed softly, "poor Chloe."

Chloe closed her eyes, "Harrison slept with someone." She said softly.

Meg smiled as she watched her sons play.

Kara watched him for a moment, her lip trembling slightly.
Jack watched Ben for a moment.

Grace deepened the kiss slightly.

Matt nodded, "How's she doing?"

April bit her lip, "have you spoken to him about it?" She asked softly.

"It takes a lot to get him angry," Ellie said softly. "Come sit on the sofa, let him cool off outside."
Ben grumbled and lifted his head, "yeah, just great. My so called brother cheated on a girl that is perfect for him, with my ex-wife."

Dec grinned, "come on." He said lightly and stepped back.

Zoe glanced at the ground then bit her lip, "if I ever went away.." She sighed softly, unable to finish her question.

Kara nodded and got up, sitting on the sofa.
Jack sighed softly and sat down on one of the other chairs.

Grace smiled and stood up.

Matt put his hand on her cheek, "I love you, Zoe. More than anything. And while you being away would be difficult, I'm willing to have a sexual relationship with my hand until you get back." He said softly.
