Rhiann leaned her head back, "think we're in trouble?" She asked lightly.
"When aren't we?" Ben complained lightly and watched Zoe sit down silently.

Charlie walked through the door, waving his hand for everyone to stand easy.

Charlie got to the front of the room, "Okay team. The HMAS Voyager is requiring some more pilots and squadron leaders for the ship. Kreagar and Porter, you've been assigned to these tasks. And though you are still technically USN, we're happy for you to have these positions. You'll both be promoted to Lieutenant Commander before shipping out."
Meg blinked and glanced at Josh. She was excited for the promotion.
Charlie let it sink in for a moment, "You all will be heading out for carrier qualifications in two weeks. Three months after that you will be deploying for six months to the Gulf."

Alek smiled and kissed the side of his head.

Charlie watched them all, "You will all receive specific tasking details by the morning in your mail boxes. And further instructions on your quals. There will be no requirement to move back to Melbourne as the Voyager is coming up to Cairns so more jets can be moved on with ease." He explained, "At that point, Porter, Kreagar, as new squadron commanders you will be briefed by the Voyagers Commanding Officer, Rear Admiral Joseph Spheres."

Charlie looked around at them, "Dismissed." He said and left the room quickly.

Meg rubbed her forehead, "Alex is going to kill me." She said softly and looked at him.
Josh sighed softly, he did the math. Chances are he would miss the birth of his child...again.
Chloe looked over at Ben, "Me too."

"True." Meg said and sighed softly. She looked over at Josh, "I'm sorry, Josh."
Josh offered a smile and shrugged, "At least a promotion comes out of it." He said softly and walked out of the room.
Chloe got up and walked out quickly.
Matt looked at Zoe.
