Harrison blinked, "what's going on?" He asked again.
Sophie looked over then raised an eyebrow, "dad?"
"Stay with Claire," Harrison said and stepped out the apartment.

Dec grinned and kissed her neck gently, "I wouldn't complain."

Alex walked over and sat next to him, "I know mate." He said softly, "but it will get easier."

"Follow me down to the car and I'll explain." He said, walking down to the car and jumping in.

Grace grinned lightly, "For a man who took so long to want kids you sure don't wanna stop." She said playfully.

Harrison walked over and got in the car silently.

Dec chuckled and kissed her quickly, "your fault." He said lightly.

Alex smiled and put a hand on his shoulder.

Belle sat on her bed and stared at Spencer's cot silently as she bit her lip.

The major signaled the driver to drive, "Sir, I need to be blunt with you."

Grace grinned and kissed him quickly.

Zander sighed, "I feel like I'm abandoning them."

Alek glanced into her room before stepping in silently.

Harrison tilted his head, "will you just tell me what's going on?"

Dec touched her cheek gently.

"You're not," Alex said softly. "It's not like you're never coming back."

Belle looked up at him and bit her lip, a few tears running down her face.

Harrison blinked, "what?" He asked, "she's dead, I saw her. Hell, we buried her."

Dec smiled and nodded, "yeah, I guess I do."

Alex smiled and patted his shoulder, "you'll still get contact with her too. You'll find ways to cope with all this. Everyone does."

Belle squeezed his hand gently, "I don't want him to go." She whispered and bit her lip, "I don't want to be a single parent.."

The major shook his head, "What you saw was what we wanted you to see. During her pregnancy there were movements of Al Qaeda in Afghanistan and Iraq. Prices started going out on pilots heads involved with the attacks two years ago. Henderson was at the top of the list. And so was her family. We staged her death to protect her and you. The threat has now been eliminated."

Zander smiled and nodded, "I don't want to loose her."

The major looked at him, "I know it's hard to take in Harrison. But know we had to do it for her safety and the safety of your family. Please, come with me to see her." He said and got out of the car.

Grace giggled and nudged him lightly.

Zander bit his lip slightly and leaned down.

Alek held her close, rubbing her side gently.

The major with two other soldiers walked with then as he led Harrison into a building. He came down to a room and opened it up for him. Chloe was standing in the corner, sipping her water.

Grace giggled lightly and kissed him gently.

Zander sighed softly and looked at the photo of Belle and Spencer in his hands.

Alek rubbed her side gently, kissing the top of her head.

Harrison looked at them then stepped inside and looked over at Chloe, his voice locked in his throat.

Dec returned her kiss gently.

Alex smiled, "you should be with her."

Chloe looked over and blinked. She set her drink down silently and walked over to him, "I'm so sorry."
