Alex chuckled and got up, he kissed the back of her head then walked out, heading to the bridge.

Roxy smiled and shook her head lightly.

Rhiann jumped down off the jet she was checking over and glanced across at Jeff.

Laura looked up when she saw Alex, "Sir, we've got a serious problem. An Indian patrol boat was just shot down and sunk by a couple of Chinese fighters. An Australian frigate has also been attacked. We need fighters in the air now."

Kara glanced over at Ben, offering a small smile.

Jeff finished his conversation and headed over to Rhi.

Alex nodded, "call them up. Brooks can go it alone."

Laura got over the radio, "Porter, Kreagar, Wade, Gannon, Nelson, Brooks, conference room 1, at the rush."

Kara heard the call and blinked, standing up.

Josh was just walking away from Meg, who looked upset when they heard the call and headed to the conference room.

April looked up then turned and walked out the gym.

Rhiann groaned and kissed Jeff's cheek lightly then headed to the room quickly.

Ben got up and grumbled as he headed out the room.

Meg and Josh got to the conference room, sitting down away from each other.

Kara stepped beside Ben, nudging his shoulder gently with hers.

Jeff watched her and smiled softly.

"You want to breif them, sir?" Laura asked.

April walked in and sat down, looking up as Rhiann sat opposite her.

Ben chuckled and nudged her back lightly and looked at her.

Alex nodded slightly, "yeah." He said as he walked off the bridge.

Josh glanced at April then at Meg.

Kara grinned lightly at him.

Laura watched him and then looked down at the flight deck as they scurried to get the jets ready.

Alex glanced up as he walked into the room, walking to the top of the table.
"Everything okay sir?" Rhiann asked.
"No," Alex said and sighed. "An Indian patrol boat was just shot down and sunk by a few Chinese fighters. They've also attacked an Australian frigate. I need you all in the air." He glanced at April, "alone."
April blinked slightly then nodded silently.

Dec looked up in time to narrowly avoid bumping into her, "whoa. Hi." He said lightly.

Meg blinked and glanced around the room.
Kara felt the nervousness return and she tapped Ben's leg under the table with her knee.
Josh instantly jumped up, heading for the door right away.

Grace smiled, "Hi." She said softly.

"Go on," Alex nodded.
Rhiann got up and walked out the room quickly.
Ben took her hand as he stood up when Alex wasn't looking, "it's okay." He said and smiled, "I'll be right there, okay?"
April got up and followed them.

Meg followed Rhiann closely.
Kara nodded, "Okay." She said quietly. She was the newest pilot on the team, the most inexperienced.

Grace nodded, "Yeah, just looking forward to getting home."
