SIX MONTHS LATER
HMAS Voyager was being updated and refurbished for the previous six months.
Meg sat on the bench, her hand on her stomach. Josh sat beside her, glancing at her slightly. He still wasnt sure if the baby was his or not.

Kara stretched as she walked into the apartment after a long shift. She glanced at the time realizing it was on 4pm.
-
Grace sighed as she looked at the ceiling. Her shift started in another hour.
-
Jeff continued to write a report silently.

Alex glanced out at the water then back ahead as he walked slowly.
"I still don't understand how you can be okay with it."
Alex chuckled and put an arm around April's shoulders, "because sleepless nights and worrying about it none stop won't change who the father is."
April sighed and pouted, "I want it to be yours." She admitted, "I don't want her to have a reason to be.. There all the time."
Alex kissed the side of her head and looked out ahead silently.

Ben looked over from where he was sitting on the sofa and grinned innocently, "hi." He said lightly.

"Do you have to go?" Dec asked lightly and glanced at the time then at Grace.
-
Rhiann sat on the bench in the park and bit her lip, rubbing her forehead, she looked out as Holly sat a few feet away, playing.

Meg bit her lip and sighed quietly, "Josh, if the baby is yours....I know you'll want a part in it's life."
Josh looked towards her, "I will, but Meg ... you know what April thinks."
"We didn't cheat Josh...we didn't do anything wrong at the end of the day."

Kara blinked, "I knew giving you the key to my apartment was a bad idea." She said playfully.

Grace looked over at him, "Yeah...probably."

Jeff sighed softly as he finished his report.

Alex took his daughter's hand and kissed her forehead, "you gotta let it go, April."
April grumbled, "how can I? I thought we were happy and he left me. I think we're happy now and he's going to leave me."
"Well he will if you carry this up. If that baby's his, you can't stop him."
"I know. And I don't want to. Just wish the mother wasn't her."
Alex sighed and shook his head.

Ben pouted playfully, "you can have it back if you want." He said lightly.

Dec pouted, "that's not fair."

Rhiann bit her lip as tears came to her eyes, quickly wiping at them, she sighed and looked around.

Meg blinked when the baby kicked, she took Josh's hand and put it over her stomach watching him grin.

Kara stepped up and shifted into his lap playfully, "I like it."

Grace giggled lightly, "Maybe you'll get a whole nights sleep."

Jeff walked down the path silently.

Alex kissed his daughter's forehead then looked up as he saw Meg and Josh.
April looked over then hugged her father silently before carrying on down the path.
Alex watched her and stopped, folding his arms.

Ben grinned and wrapped his arms around her waist, "good cause you weren't getting it back." He said lightly.

"Maybe I don't want to," Dec said playfully.

Rhiann reached out to straighten Holly's clothes, pulling her up on the bench beside her, she glanced up at the sky.

Meg leaned back as the baby stopped kicking and Josh's hand returned to his side.
"I should get going." Josh said, standing up.
Meg nodded, "Okay." She said quietly and watched him leave.

Kara grinned and kissed him quickly.

Grace giggled and jumped up walking over to him.

Jeff saw Rhi and walked over to her quietly.

Josh continued down the path, deep in thought.

Kara grinned and kissed him gently.

Grace stepped up and kissed him quickly.

Alex sat next to her, "hey."

April stopped and looked up at the sky then glanced back and saw Josh, tilting her head slightly.

Ben returned her kiss gently, holding her close.

"No, bugger off," Dec complained playfully. "You're abandoning me."

"Hewwo," Holly said sweetly, swinging her legs.
Rhiann smiled and looked at Jeff.
