12 Hours Later
Kara shifted slightly in her seat of the jet, getting ready for take off.
-
Meg was in flight control, rubbing her stomach gently.
Jeff was also in flight control, looking around slightly.
-
Grace brought a release board into Dec's room.
-
Alek was flipping through a newspaper, drinking some coffee.

Rhiann shifted in her seat and glanced up at where Alex was standing, looking out the window. She tilted her head and glanced at Meg then ahead.

Dec glanced up at her then smiled, sitting up slowly.
-
Emily put Belle down in the playpen and walked over, sitting next to Alek.
-
April looked out at the water as she walked along the beach, brushing her hair out of her face.

Kara launched her jet and soon started her patrol route.

Meg walked over and sat next to Rhiann, glancing at the notes in front of her.

Grace smiled and sat on the bed next to him.

Alek looked up and smiled at her.

Josh was on the way to work when he saw April and smiled, watching her from where he was in the sidewalk in his whites.

"Alex looks a bit stressed, he okay?" Rhiann asked quietly.

Dec looked at her, kissing her cheek lightly, "can I go now?" He complained lightly.

"Are you working today?" Emily asked, leaning back in her chair.

April looked out at the water for a moment before turning and heading to the path again as she spotted Josh. She smiled and walked over to him.

Meg glanced at him, "I'm not sure. He hasn't spoken much." She said quietly.

Grace giggled, "Yep."

Alek smiled, "Just on call." He said and touched her cheek gently.

Josh smiled at her, "You got up early."

Kara pulled her jet down the coast.

Rhiann tilted her head then nodded slightly, "fair enough."

Dec grinned, "thank god." He complained lightly.

Emily smiled and kissed his palm lightly, "good."

April smiled and nodded slightly, "I couldn't sleep, I needed the fresh air."

Meg smiled, "I'll go talk to him." She said and got up out of the chair with some difficulty and walked over to Alex. She stepped close to him so no one could hear, "You okay?"

Grace giggled and kissed him gently.

Alek smiled and leaned over, kissing her quickly.

Josh smiled, "Fair enough." He said and looked up as a jet went overhead.

Rhiann watched her then looked back at her files.
Alex blinked slightly and looked at her then nodded silently, looking back out the window.

Dec returned her kiss gently.

Emily smiled and looked at him then closed her eyes.

April smiled and looked up then back at Josh, "I should let you go." She said lightly.

Meg squeezed his hand gently, "Alex?"

Alek smiled and glanced back at the paper.

Jeff smiled at her then headed back to his station.
Meg just sighed softly and walked back over ands at next to Rhi.

Grace kissed him again quickly and headed back into the other room to hand in his discharge papers.

Alek read about a house that was for sale and bit his lip. He desperately wanted to start investing in his own house, with Emily and Belle.

Josh continued to walk to Naval Aviation.
