TWO YEARS LATER
Grace stepped off the plane a few days earlier than she'd expected to. She was wearing full camo and a camo hat, something she'd been working in the past three years while on board the USNS Mercy. She hadnt told Dec of her early arrival, wanting to suprise him instead.

Meg sat in the op room, running over some notes on the Lightning. It had been cleared for full operational duties.
-
Upstairs Charlie was receiving word that Lieutenant Wade had been shot down behind enemy lines in Iraq and the Lightning may need to be deployed.

Dec grumbled to himself as he flicked through his paperwork, glancing at the clock.

April walked through the room before sitting down, flicking through her folder.

Alex stepped in, glancing around.

Grace got out of the cab she took to Dec's office on the navy base. She pulled the heavy pack on her back and winced slightly. After three years of lugging the heavy packs around, she was looking forward to getting some physio and chiropracter work on it. She signed into the office and stepped down the hall, enquiring what office was Dec's.

Meg glanced up at April, offering a small smile.

Charlie looked up, "Alex, we've got a problem."

Dec leaned back in his seat, closing his eyes.

"How's it going?" April asked, smiling.

Grace bit her lip and asked an airmen to recieve Dec for her. He nodded and stepped down the hall.
"Sir, there's some chick in camo down the hall wanting to see you." He said, unsure who she was.
Grace bit her lip as she waited in the hall for him.

Meg smiled, "Great. The jet is finally cleared to get postings on land or a carrier."

Charlie sighed, "Lieutenant Wade was shot down over Iraq. We've been asked to deploy the Lightning programme and the rescue workers over to the USS George Washington which is in the Gulf at the moment who will then send them to Iraq."

Dec looked over then stood up, "who is it?" He asked.

"Nice," April said lightly.

Alex groaned slightly, "Gannon is with the Lightning programme. He'll be more of a hinder than help to them."

The airmen shrugged, "Not sure, sir. She's pretty though." He said lightly, "Probably someone from the army about the stores heading over there tomorrow though." He complained.

Meg grinned, "I'm quite happy. I beat Josh."

Charlie sighed, "Kreagar will need a wingman and he's the only other Lieutenant qualified to fly them."

Dec groaned, "that's all I need." He complained lightly, "thanks." He said, stepping out the room.

"Yeah, thanks for that," April said lightly. "I get to listen to him complaining about it now."

The airmen nodded, "No problem, sir."

Grace waited and looked up at the wall. Her face was tanned and slightly burnt, hands a bit cracked. She was also quite a bit thinner than when she left.

Meg grinned lightly.

Charlie nodded, "I'll call them up and brief the rescue team."

Dec walked down the hallway, blinking as Grace came into view, "G-Grace?"

April giggled lightly, shaking her head.

Grace grinned, "Hi, honey." She said lightly.

Meg smiled and glanced over at Ben as their name was called over the intercom to report to ops.

Charlie stepped downstairs into Ops after getting Meg and Ben called.

Grace grinned, "Suprise." She said playfully, watching him.

Meg grinned playfully and got up, grabbing her paperwork, "I'll see you later." She said to April, heading down the hall.

April nodded and watched them then looked back at her work.
Ben grumbled and followed Meg.
