Two Weeks Later
1700
Kara sat in the pilots rec room trying to finish up some paperwork. She looked up at the ceiling breifly, still worried about Ben.
-
Grace shifted in her uniform. She was on a night shift at the hospital. It felt weird being working back at the hospital.
-
Meg glanced through some accommodation and flight options in a booklet at home.
-
Josh held one his daughters, smiling softly.
-
Jeff finished up for the day, gathering his work.

Ben walked into the apartment, his mind racing after being with the doctor for the past two hours. He sat on the sofa and closed his eyes.

Alex walked into the apartment and glanced over at her then tilted his head, "what you got there?"

April looked over at him then grinned brightly and walked over, putting a hand on his back gently.
-
Rhiann sat on the sofa and leaned her head back, rubbing her forehead.

Kara packed up her gear in her backpack and headed home. Not too long later she turned off her engines off and sorted a few things out in her car.

Meg looked up and smiled, "I still owe a trip down to the theme parks."

Josh grinned brightly.

Jeff arrived home not too long later, holding Tom and opening the door for Holly.

Ben bit his lip as he heard her car and sighed, rubbing the back of his head, he stood up.

Alex chuckled and walked over, "fair enough."

April smiled and rested her head against his shoulder gently.

"And there goes the peace and quiet."
Holly giggled and ran through the apartment, "Hello mummy!"
Rhiann smiled and pulled her daughter into her lap.

Kara stepped in and smiled bright, "Hello." She said softly and wrapped her arms around his neck gently.

Meg grinned lightly.

Josh smiled and kissed the top of her head.

Jeff chukled lightly and sat down, holding Tom in his lap.

April smiled and reached down, lifting Katie up gently.

Tom grinned and squirmed lightly, "hi."
Rhiann kissed her forehead then kissed Jeff's cheek gently.

Kara kissed his cheek gently and burried her face in his shoulder.

Meg grinned and showed him one of the hotel rooms, "I'm thinking perhaps after the baby is born. They can share a room and we'll have a room of our own. It's not exactly a honeymoon but it'll be nice. There's a day care centre and everything."

Josh smiled and kissed Abby's forehead gently.

Jeff chuckled lightly and smiled.

Ben sighed and rubbed her back gently, "we need to talk." He whispered.

Alex smiled and moved to sit next to her, "sounds nice."

"They're beautiful," April whispered, smiling.

Rhiann smiled, "go get cleaned up." She said, "you have mud on your face."
Holly giggled and jumped down, running into the bathroom.
Tom squirmed down and followed his sister, clapping.

Kara blinked and sat down, suddenly worried.

Meg smiled and put a hand on his knee.

Josh smiled softly.

Jeff smiled and wrapped his arms around her.

After a few hours of being on shift Grace had started bleeding. She was checked out the doctor who told her she'd lost her baby. Reality still hadnt struck and she sent a text to Emily, asking her to come to the hospital.

Ben shifted to face her and took her hands gently, "I've been seeing a doctor, since you were worried." He said softly, "they took some tests and I got the results today."

Alex put an arm around her, looking back at the booklets.

April smiled and kissed his cheek gently, "I love you."

Rhiann smiled and snuggled into him slightly.

Emily tilted her head as she pulled up outside the hospital, she got out and walked in, glancing around.
