Harrison groaned, "shit." He muttered and got up, running after Matt.

April grunted as she hit the ground, feeling something crack in her chest, she closed her eyes tightly, breathing heavily.

Matt walked out to the hanger bay and sighed heavily.

Chloe sat up after a while, knowing the first thing she had to do was to move out of the crash site before insurgents came. She also wanted to find April. She got to her feet, testing the weight on her legs slightly, sighing as they both seemed in tact. She wiggled her arms and everything seemed to be in working order. She pulled her helmet off and cringed slightly as she felt a cut on her forehead.

Harrison followed, folding his arms as he watched him, "are you going to tell Chloe?"

April remained still for a moment then sat up slowly, shaking her head clear, she groaned and pulled her helmet off slowly. She reached down and touched her leg, whilst one was intact, the other was clearly broken, bloody seeping through the suit. "Shit," she whispered weakly.

Matt turned, "I think you should tell her."

Chloe rubbed her side and winced. She pulled her suit down slightly to get a better look at her side. She bit her lip slightly as she felt a few broken ribs and realised she'd probably done that when she ejected. She took a breath, getting used to it before picking up her pack that had come out with her and started a light jog towards April's crash site. With any luck she'd see the older pilot running towards her.

Harrison shook his head, "she'll hate me."

April tilted her head back slightly for a moment then glanced around, spotting Chloe, she squinted then attempted to stand up, holding her chest.

Matt narrowed his eyes slightly, "She deserves to know the truth. She hasnt even been away that long yet, Harrison. What were you thinking?"

Chloe spotted April and sprinted up, ignoring the protests of her side. She blinked as she got closer, "Dont try to stand, ma'am." Chloe said, holding April's shoulders to keep her down as she dropped beside her.

Harrison shook his head, "I wasn't." He said, "it's just.. Happened. I didn't intend to do this."

Matt sighed, "She still has to know."

Chloe nodded, "We will, but not yet, okay?" Chloe said, knowing moving April now would probably kill her.

"Then I'll tell her. But not until she's home," Harrison said quietly.

April sighed reluctantly and nodded, the pain in her chest tightened and she knew it was problems caused by the gunshot she suffered years back. She put a hand to her chest and sighed softly.

Matt nodded for a moment, "Who the hell is she anyway?"

Chloe looked around and found a long stick. She ran over and grabbed it before running back, "I'm gunna work on trying to splint your leg, ma'am. So we can get out of here." She said, hearing a few gunshots in the distance.

Harrison bit his lip, "my brother's ex-wife." He mumbled "she's to be a pilot here."

April bit her lip and nodded slightly, "maybe you should just get on to safety." She said softly, "they'll be here before we know it."

Matt blinked a few times, "Does she know about Chloe?"

Chloe looked at April, "No way ma'am. You've got two girls to get home to and I'd be damned if I didn't bring you home to them." She said forcefully.

Matt shook his head, "Who are you going to let down?" He asked, knowing Harrison would have to make the choice.

Chloe squeezed April's hand gently, "Try and keep your eyes open ma'am. Stay awake." She said softly, "Talk about something. When did you first meet Josh?" She asked as she prepped her leg to be splinted.

Harrison sighed and looked off ahead of him, "I love Chloe." He said and sighed, shaking his head. "I don't even know what I'm doing with anyone else."

April smiled and bit her lip, "years ago." She smiled, "we were on deployment together, dad warned me of a cocky US Navy pilot we were going to be working with." She said lightly, "never told me he was drop dead gorgeous."
