Dec bit his lip and glanced at Grace silently.

The doctor smiled, "I'll be back in five minutes to take her down." He said and left again.
Grace looked at Dec, "You want to stay with her and I'll look after Tyler?" She asked, knowing Dec would really want to stay.

Emma grinned and walked back out, holding her hand and leading her over to the horse.

Alek smiled and kissed his head again, "How about you go draw a card or picture for her?"

Dec looked at her then nodded slightly, "sure." He said softly.

Abby looked up at the horse, blinking a few times before pointing up at it silently.

Jacob nodded and got down, running out the room.
Emily bit her lip and sighed softly.

Grace walked over to Bree and gently kissed her forehead, "Be good for daddy." She whispered.
Bree opened her eyes and nodded and looked around as a nurse came in to wheel the bed down.

Emma grinned, "This is Domino." She said, "Can you say Domino?"

Alek put an arm around Emily gently and kissed her cheek.

Dec watched then looked at the nurse, walking over to Bree.

Abby tilted her head for a moment then giggled and pointed to the horse again, "Domino." She mumbled softly and grinned.

Emily smiled sadly, "he adores Bree." She said softly and bit her lip.

Grace gently picked up Tyler and watched as the nurse wheeled Bree out and over to the lift. Bree waved to Grace and then looked at her father.

Emma grinned, "Good girl." She said and led Abby over to the horse, "Can you pet him?"

Alek nodded softly, "I'm not sure whether to encourage it or not." He whispered sadly.

Dec smiled and took her hand gently, glancing around slightly.

Abby watched the horse for a moment then took a step back, suddenly intimidated by the larger animal.

Emily sighed softly, "I guess.. It's just a case of.. He's gonna try keep her happy for whatever time she has left.. For now, it's what 's needed."

Emma knelt down, "It's okay, Abby. Look." She said and put one of her hands out for the horse to sniff.

Alek kissed the top of her head gently.

Bree squirmed slightly and looked at her father nervously as they got into the OR.

Bree started to squirm and cry as the doctors start to work around her, getting ready to put her to sleep.

Emma grinned, "Ready to sit on the horse?"

Alek held her close, closing his eyes.

Meg arrived home early and sighed heavily.

Dec moved to lean down and stroked her cheek gently, "Bree, look at me." He said softly, "it's okay."

Abby tilted her head and looked up at the horse, "it hurt?"

"I love you," Emily whispered softly.

Alex grabbed the remote off Katie as he passed her, putting it on the side.
"Hey!" Katie pouted and looked up, "hi Meg!" She waved.
Alex grumbled and looked over, smiling lightly.

"They're going to help you sleep for a little while so they don't hurt you with the tests." Dec said softly, "it's okay, I'm here and I'll be here when you wake up."

Katie giggled and looked back at the cartoons on the TV.
Alex walked over and kissed Meg's forehead.
