Two Years Later
Breanna's Birthday
Grace grinned as she carried the birthday cake into the dining room where Breanna was sitting around the table with everyone. She looked healthy. The cancer went into remission in the first month of chemo and though she had required several surgeries and more treatment during the years the news looked good for now. Grace began to sing happy birthday as she set the cake down.
Alek grinned and joined in the singing of happy birthday.

Chloe looked over at Matt and Zoe as she put the dinner on the table having the whole family and Matt and Zoe over for dinner was a nice occasion.

Meg looked over at Zander who was working on some homework, Riley beside him working on his. She smiled and set the table.

Jacob grinned and clapped lightly as he sang along.

"Someone stop that child," Sophie complained lightly as she walked out her room.
Zoe blinked then lifted Natalie up lightly and giggled, "this one?"
Sophie giggled, "that one."
Harrison grumbled lightly and smiled, sitting down.

Alex walked into the house and rubbed his head, glancing around.

Grace gently set the cake down and let Bree blow out the candles after the song finished, kissing the top of her head. Her hair was mostly grown back after finishing her last lot of chemo. She grinned brightly and sat next to Dec, taking his hand gently.
Alek grinned brightly.

Meg looked over, "You alright?" She asked lightly.

Kara finished helping the twins with their homework.

Dec grinned and watched his daughter.
Emily smiled softly and looked around.

Zoe giggled and put Natalie in her seat gently as Sophie walked over.
"You're good with her, want to keep her?" Sophie asked lightly and sat down.
"No thanks," Zoe said lightly and patted Natalie's head.

"No, I'm old and I'm tired," Alex said playfully.

Ben walked out the bedroom and looked over, grinning lightly.

Grace grinned and cut up the cake, handing everyone a piece of it.
Bree looked at Jacob and giggled.
Alek kissed the side of her head gently.

Bree ate her cake quickly before jumping down and running outside to the new jungle gym that had been bought.
Tyler blinked and squirmed form the high chair and chased after her.
Grace watched the kids and blinked a few times.

Matt smiled and squeezed her hand.
Chloe dished up their dinner and started to eat silently.

Meg grinned and stroked his cheek gently.

Jacob blinked a few times before getting down and running after them.

Grace leaned against Dec slightly and kissed his shoulder a few times gently.
Alek smiled softly. He too was amazed she'd made it to her sixth birthday, especially after they nearly lost a year ago and it was touch and go for a few weeks but Alek knew Grace was saying goodbye and getting ready to let go at that point.

Matt grinned and nudged her back playfully.
Chloe rolled her eyes slightly and glanced at Sophie, "How are your study's going?" She asked as she cut up some of the food for Liam.

Meg watched him and smiled.
Lucy looked up and giggled brightly before jumping up and running over, "Daddy!"

Emily smiled and watched them then stood and walked over, watching the kids.
