Dec leaned forwards and rested his elbows on his knees, closing his eyes for a moment.

Sophie bit her lip and looked around, she smiled softly and walked over to Lauren.

Ben bit his lip and nodded slightly, "how'd he take it?"
-
Peyton nodded slightly, "I'm aware. Every team has it's weak link though, Commander."
-
Jacob grinned, "bye daddy." He said and ran over to his friends.

Grace bit her lip and walked over, touching his back gently.

Lauren smiled softly, "Hey."

Meg smiled, "Really well. He was shocked...but he took and ... I don't know I think we're over our bump."

Josh nodded, "True. But we don't." He said softly, "We work hard, we get jobs done. You can't just walk in here and expect to lead us without knowing us."

Alek grinned and walked back down to the car.
Josh looked at her.

Dec lifted his head slightly and smiled lightly.

"Hey," Sophie said softly. "How you doing?"

Ben smiled and nodded, "I'm glad you two are okay."

"I'm not here to try boss anyone around or lead anyone," Peyton said. "I'm going by what I've read, what I've been told. It is not my fault if someone can't handle a bit of criticism. I'm not going to hold anyone's hand who should be used to hearing this."

Belle squirmed and watched her father.

Grace kissed the top of his head gently.

Lauren smiled, "Good, you?"

Meg smiled softly, "You going to tell Kara?"

Josh sighed softly, "It really is a bit pointless with you. At what part of officer training school did they not teach you that you have to gain the respect of the people you command to command them?"

Alek smiled and started the drive to the school.

Dec pulled her into his lap gently and wrapped his arms around her.

Sophie bit her lip, "nervous." She admitted lightly, "I feel like I'm starting a new school all over again."

"I guess I have to," Ben said and sat back. "She's going to hate me."

"You know what, I didn't get any of this hassle anywhere else," Peyton complained. "I came here because Admiral Brooks transferred me here. I didn't ask to have to put up with this, I'm doing my job. If people don't respect me then fine. Their problem. I'm not going to twist the truth to keep myself in their good books no matter what I was taught."

Belle giggled to herself and looked out the window.

Grace snuggled into him gently and took his hand.

Lauren smiled and nudged her, "You'll be okay."

Meg bit her lip slightly and watched him.

Josh shook his head, "Everywhere else isn't here, Captain. You're meant to adapt. We're the best air squadrons in the navy, this is our turf, our rules."

Alek smiled and pulled up outside the school.

Dec kissed the side of her head gently and held her close.

Sophie smiled and nodded lightly, "I hope so."

Ben leaned his head back and closed his eyes for a moment.

Peyton rubbed her forehead, "I never should have taken this damn posting. I was the bad guy before I stepped foot on this base."
"Maybe you shouldn't have been such a bitch then," April muttered.
"Did you say something Lieutenant?" Peyton asked dryly.
April held her hands up and walked past them.

Belle pouted and looked out then looked down at her lap.

Grace smiled softly and rubbed his leg gently.

Lauren smiled and headed to class.

Chloe stepped into the ready room and glanced around.

Meg bit her lip slightly and rubbed her forehead, "I'm sorry, Ben."

Josh sighed softly, "Then work with us, not against us and perhaps this will all work out in the end."

Alek smiled and opened the door for her, lifting her out gently, "It's okay honey."

Dec smiled and rested his forehead against her shoulder gently.

Sophie bit her lip and followed, ignoring a few funny looks she got from other classmates.

Rhiann glanced over then smiled and looked over at where Harrison was sat slumped over the table slightly, asleep.

Ben shook his head, "it's not your fault."

Peyton shook her head, "this is never going to work out. Not when so many people just hate me."
"You ever stop to think why?" April asked and put her hands on her hips. "Believe it or not, we're all friends and we're pretty damn close. You made my dad fall in love with you and isolate Meg and for what? For you to just up and abandon him and leave him pining for you?"
"I lost a baby," Peyton growled. "I didn't just leave him. I lost our damn baby and I didn't know what to do."
"Don't you dare," April said, loosing her cool. "I lost one too and I haven't abandoned my family and friends." She snapped and closed her eyes, suddenly remembering she'd not even told Josh. She shook her head and walked down the hall quickly.
Peyton blinked and sighed softly, rubbing her forehead.

Belle pouted and hugged him, "I don't want to go.."

Josh blinked a few times and walked after April, "April?"

Alek held her close, "It'll be okay honey. You have to go so you'll get big and smart."

Sophie bit her lip as she sat down, shifting slightly.

Rhiann smiled softly, "he was conscious for about five minutes and he's been asleep since." She said lightly, "he alright?"

Ben sat forwards and rubbed his head slightly.

April bit her lip as she walked, shaking her head and blinking back tears.

Belle sniffled slightly, "I want to go home. Please daddy, please." She whimpered.

Grace touched his cheek gently and kissed the side of his head a few times.

Lauren glanced up at the teacher silently.

Chloe smiled, "He's been up late worrying about Sophie." She said softly and walked over, putting a hand on his shoulder gently.

Meg bit her lip, "Go home, Ben. Paperwork can wait and flights have been cancelled for the day due to what is apparently bad weather coming in."

Josh took her hand gently, "Come into my office." He whispered softly.

Alek kissed her forehead, "You have to go to school honey. Come on, I'll walk you in."

Harrison blinked slightly and lifted his head, he groaned and rubbed his face, sitting back.

Ben nodded slightly and smiled lightly, "alright."

April bit her lip and followed him, glancing at the ground slightly.

Belle sniffled and clutched her bag, nodding silently.

Grace smiled and kissed the tip of his nose before standing up again, "Want to come down to the caf with me?"

Lauren glanced at her for a moment then looked back up the front.

Chloe smiled and knelt down, touching his cheek gently, "You okay?"

Meg smiled softly and watched him.

Josh bit his lip and sat on the edge of the desk, watching her silently, "Was it our baby?"

Alek took her hand and led her inside.

Dec nodded slightly as he stood up, "sure." He said softly.

Sophie closed her eyes for a moment and bit her lip.
The teacher stopped for a moment and looked over, "are you okay Sophie?"
Sophie shook her head suddenly and got up, running out the room with a hand over her mouth.

Harrison nodded, "tired." He said softly and kissed her palm. "Sophie and boys go okay this morning?"

Ben stood up and smiled, "have a good day, Meg."

April remained by the door and glanced around, trying to avoid eye contact, "two months ago I found out I was a couple months pregnant." She said softly and glanced at the ground, "I was going to tell you but you were working a lot and I didn't know how to bring it up.. Last month I was bleeding and I went to the doctor." She shrugged helplessly and closed her eyes, "I'd lost the baby." She managed to whisper and bit her lip.

Belle stuck close to him as she followed, rubbing her eyes.
