Ben chuckled and pulled her closer, leaning his head down to kiss her.

Alex couldn't smile and took her hand, "there's something you need to know." He said softly, "about Ben."

Dec kissed the top of her head gently.

Kara returned his kiss, instantly stopping the squirming.

Meg blinked and turned slightly, "Alex..." She said, stomach dropping.

Grace smiled softly and put her hand on his upper arm.

Ben held her close as he kissed her, rubbing her lower back gently.

Alex squeezed her hand gently, "he has a brain tumor."

Kara stroked his cheek gently with one hand and returned the keys to his pocket.

Meg blinked, "W-what?" She blinked a few more times, unable to take it in.

"I win," Ben whispered playfully against her lips, grinning.

Alex sighed, "that's why he wanted to see us earlier. He doesn't know how far along it is."

Kara grinned, "I let you win." She whispered and kissed him again softly.

Meg bit her lip, "Oh God. Not now. Kara's only just got back."

Ben chuckled into the kiss, putting a hand on the side of her neck gently.

Alex sighed and nodded slightly, "something tells me he's been hiding it for a while now."

Ben grinned and kissed her quickly, "I love your laugh." He said lightly.

Alex nodded slightly, "he's seeing a doctor now. We're going to see if we can keep him in any way but I thought I'd come let you know."

Meg nodded, "If he doesnt make it....Kara will be a mess. We just lost two very good pilots." She said softly.

Grace smiled softly and shifted slightly, yawning softly. She'd hardly slept the night before. Her thoughts always wandering.

Kara grinned lightly and kissed him quickly before walking around the car and getting in the passenger seat.
