Roxy smiled and nodded, stepping out the apartment.

Ben smiled and nodded before shaking Alex's hand, he turned and walked out the room, biting his lip.

Kara walked into the bathroom and groaned at what a state she looked in. She quickly washed her face and pulled on some tidy dress pants and a button up shirt.

Charlie sat back down after Ben left and looked at Alex, "Shit." Was all he managed to say.

Ben walked into the apartment a while later and glanced around.

Alex nodded and sat down, "I didn't see that coming." He said quietly.

Kara looked up as Ben walked in, biting her lip slightly.

Charlie shook his head, "No. Definetly the last thing I expected."

Ben looked at her then waved a hand, "well I'm no longer part of the military." He said with a sad smile, "papers will be through soon."

Kara walked over to him slowly and took his hands gnetly, knowing no words could stop the hurting he was feeling.

Charlie nodded, "Do you think we could just medically ground him? If it's not that bad he could still fly the rescue helicopters."

Ben kissed her forehead softly, "let's go." He said quietly.

Kara nodded and didn't let go of one of his hands.

Charlie nodded softly, "I'll talk to the naval aviation training centre. Sure they're starting to get backed up with pilots."

Grace stepped back inside not long later having done everything she needed to.

Ben smiled and walked out the apartment, heading to the car.

Alex nodded slightly and looked at the ceiling then sat up, "I'm gonna pop and see Meg." He said, "since he probably won't tell her."

Kara kissed his cheek gently and opened the passengers door, stealing the keys from him.

Meg sat downstairs in the pilot rec room, humming softly.

Grace smiled and walked over, sitting next to him.

Ben sighed lightly and made a reach for the keys again.

Alex got up and walked out the room, making his way into the rec room.

Dec wrapped his arm around her shoulders gently, "you okay?" He asked softly.

Kara giggled lightly and held them behind her back. She remembered when the used to play silly games like this, just for fun. It would usually end up in him kissing her and she'd drop him the keys. She hoped he'd still be somewhat playful.

Ben smiled at her giggle and wrapped an arm around her waist, reaching back for the keys with his free hand, "it's not nice to take things that aren't yours." He said playfully.
