Alex smiled and looked out the window, biting his lip slightly.

Ben shrugged slightly, "sure." He said quietly.

Dec returned her kiss gently, touching her cheek.

Emily smiled and shifted Belle in her arms, "she's getting too heavy for this."
Belle pouted and squirmed, waking up, "I'm not heavily." She pouted sleepily.

Meg watched him silently.

Kara bit her lip slightly and lowered her hand to his shoulder. He couldnt give up this early.

Grace stroked his cheek then lowered her hand to his chest as she kissed him.

Alek chuckled and scopped Belle out of her arms gently.

Alex rubbed the back of his neck then stood up straight, "I better go. Need to be there early, apparently Ben wants to see me and Charlie." He complained.

Ben closed his eyes for a moment then looked out the window again, "you don't have to stay, you know." He said quietly, "if you leave me now, I'd understand."

Dec put his hand over hers gently, squeezing her hand gently.

Belle giggled and hugged her father.
Emily smiled and shook her head lightly.

Meg nodded, "Okay. Have fun." She said lightly, but half wondering what Ben wanted. As her wingman she thought he would have come to her.

Kara blinked and put both hands on his cheeks, "Ben, I love you so much. You supported me through Iraq. I'm not going to drop and leave you. Okay? I couldnt leave you. I love you too damn much." She said as she felt more tears come to her eyes.

Grace smiled softly against his lips. Even at a time where she felt so low, he still managed to make her smile, but she knew he was hurting too.

Alek smiled and held onto her, "You working anywhere today?"

Alex kissed her quickly, "I love you."

Ben sighed and closed his eyes tightly as an urge to cry hit him, he buried his face in her shoulder, wrapping his arms around her.

Dec smiled and kissed the tip of her nose gently, "I love you." He whispered.

Emily shook her head and smiled, "not today. Gonna spend time with this terror." She said lightly, brushing Belle's hair out of her face.

Kara held onto him, kissing his shoulder gently. She partly made herself believe that if she just held onto him long enough he'd be better. He couldnt die in her arms.

Grace smiled, "I love you too." She said softly, "I should get going." She said with a small pout.

Alek grinned and kissed Emily's forehead gently.

Alex smiled and stepped out the room.

Ben held her for a moment before slowly pulling away, he sighed softly, "I gotta get ready." He said quietly.

Dec smiled and stroked her cheek gently, "okay." He said softly.

Emily smiled and put an arm around him lightly.
"I'm not a terror," Belle pouted.

Meg watched him and smiled then turned back to Zander, "Okay little man, let's get you dressed and off to day care."

Grace kissed him quickly before getting up, pulling off her PJ's.

Alek smiled and kissed the top of Belle's head and set her down gently, "Go find yourself a DVD to watch."

Alex got into the car, heading to work, he bit his lip slightly, glancing out the window.

Ben walked into the bedroom, changing into his uniform, his stomach churning as he worked out how he was going to tell people.

Dec watched her then glanced at the ceiling, biting his lip.

Belle giggled and ran back away.
Emily smiled and watched her before looking at Alek.

Meg soon got Zander into the car and drove to his day care.

Kara looked at him and bit her lip. She studied him in his uniform. His broad frame suited it perfect. He truely was a knight in shining armour. She didn't want him to loose that.

Grace pulled on her camo gear and bit her lip as she did the buttons up.

Alek smiled softly then looked at Emily, "Will you talk to Grace today?"

Ben glanced over at her then looked back ahead, he sighed and shrugged helplessly, "guess I won't be needing this thing much longer." He said sadly, picking at his uniform.

"You going to be okay?" Dec asked softly, sitting up.

Emily nodded, "yeah, I'll go see her later." She smiled, "will you have any chance to see how Dec's going?"

Kara stepped over to him silently, "You've done so much for the navy, Ben. You earned your wings. You're a damn good pilot." She said softly, "You saved my life. More than once." She said and looked at him.

Grace nodded and turned, "Dec, I'm sorry. I've been so caught up in my own emotions. Are you okay?"

Alek nodded, "I'll stop by on the way to work to check on them. Maybe Grace will be sleeping or something so we can chat."

Ben sighed softly, "and now I have a tumor." He said and glanced at the ground, "none of that is going to matter anymore, I'm no longer good enough. For anything."
