Kara bit against her lip as it shuddered, "I can't loose you." She whispered more to herself than him.

Grace held him gently, "I love you too."

Alek smiled and stepped back out after a moment in his gear. He walked over and kissed her forehead gently, "Love you."

"You might have to," Ben whispered before he would help himself.

Dec smiled and rubbed her back gently, "go on trouble. You don't wanna be late."

Kara blinked a few times as more tears started to fall down her face, "How can you say that to me, Ben?" She looked up, suddenly angry, at herself, at the situation and at him for making her love him so damn much. She collapsed against him, sobbing uncontrolably.

Grace smiled and kissed him quickly.

Alek smiled and stepped out the door.

Ben held her tightly, burying his face in the side of her neck, "I'm sorry." He whispered against her neck.

Dec smiled and touched her cheek then sat down.

Emily watched then smiled and sat next to Belle.

Kara held onto him, once again becoming too afraid to let go.

Grace smiled, "I'll text you later and come see you at the office if you're there." She said softly and kissed him quickly before leaving the apartment.

Alek got into the car and turned it on, driving towards Dec's place.

Charlie stood in one of the conference rooms, glancing at the time as they waited for Ben to arrive.

Ben rubbed her back gently, "I have to go." He whispered softly.

Dec smiled and watched her then bit his lip and looked at the ground.

Alex walked into the room and glanced at the time then at Charlie, "Ben not here yet?"

Alek soon enough arrived and knocked on Dec's door.

Charlie shook his head and sighed, "Hope it's serious to make us late."

Alek smiled, "Hey, is Grace asleep?" He asked, knowing the conversation was not to be had while she was there.

Dec smiled, "could never keep her down whatever was happening." He said lightly.

Alex chuckled and looked over as Ben stepped into the room.
Ben stood to attention, "sorry I'm late."

Kara sent Roxy a text, 'Roxy, if you're free can you come over. It's urgent.'

Alek smiled, "How're you doing?" He asked softly.

Charlie sighed, "Stand easy, Lieutenant. Take a seat." He said and sat down.

Roxy knocked on the door five minutes later, biting her lip.

"Okay, I guess," Dec sighed.

Ben nodded slowly and walked over, sitting down, he looked at the table.

Kara went over and opened the door, sniffing slightly.

Alek put a hand on his shoulder, "It's okay to grieve, Dec. You lost a baby too."

Charlie glanced at Alex then back at Ben, "Okay Lieutenant, what can we help you with?"
