Dec blinked a few times, his heart dropping, "wait.. What? It can't be, she's not that ill.."
Emily bit her lip and took his hand gently.

Nikki giggled, "you better keep in touch." She said lightly.

Belle bit her lip, "I don't want her to, daddy. I love Bree, she's too special to be poorly."

Zoe smiled and nodded slightly, "I'm sure Liam and Sophie are keeping him busy."

The doctor nodded, "She won't be at this point. We've caught it at a good time, the cancer hasn't reached the spinal system or the brain. It is in her bone marrow though so you may have noticed her being sore at times." She explained softly, "We need to start her on chemotherapy medication. We will do it with a liquid to start with because she is so young." The doctor explained softly, "She will need bone marrow transplants within the next few years though."

Alek held her daughter gently and kissed the top of her head, "We all love her honey."

Chloe grinned lightly, "Yeah."

Dec bit his lip as he tried to take it all in, he nodded slowly and glanced down at his daughter.

Nikki giggled lightly.

Belle snuggled into him and looked at the ground.

Zoe giggled, "and Matt." She said lightly, "knowing him he's probably sulking with Harry instead of being at home."

Bree looked up at Dec innocently, reaching up and touching his chin.
Dr. Pike glanced down at her papers, "I'm referring you onto Dr. Carter. He's a pediatric oncologist, one of the best in the country. They'll take your case from there and make a plan. She will need chemo though and it will have to gradually get stronger." She said softly, "Declan, you need to know that this will be a long road and I cant make any promises on the outcome." She said softly and looked at Breanna who was looking back at her, tilting her head slightly, obviously confused.
Bree looked at her doctor for a few moments before looking at Emily, tilting her head slightly.

Grace smiled and closed her eyes again slowly, having a thumping feeling in her heart that something was wrong. She was worried sick and glanced at the time again, knowing in about an hour they would be home again.

Alek held her gently, "We all need to be strong for Bree. She's going to need some friends. Do you think you can help her out?" He asked softly, but still trying to keep positive about what could be wrong.

Chloe grinned lightly, "Ah well, at least they can sulk together."

Emily kissed Bree's forehead gently and smiled softly.

Nikki glanced at the time then back at Grace, "when are you able to call him?" She asked softly.

Belle nodded and snuggled into him slightly, "I'll help her."

Bree grinned brightly and reached out to her.
The doctor smiled softly at Bree, "Take as much time as you need in here." The doctor said softly and got up, "We'll be in touch."

Grace bit her lip, "Another two hours I'm booked in."

Alek smiled and kissed the top of her head gently.

Chloe grinned and gently pulled out a photo of Liam from her front pocket.

Alek rubbed her shoulders gently and glanced at the time.

"When will they come home?" Belle asked.

Bree grinned and nodded innocently. She squirmed down to the floor and ran over to the door, running for the first time in about a week.

Alek smiled softly, "Are you okay?"

Chloe bit her lip, "Honestly...I'd go see the best damned doctor in the country and see what they say."

Dec couldn't help but smile as he watched her, he stood and followed her out.
Emily got up and sent a quick text to Alek as she followed.

Bree went back to her father and took his hand as they walked out into the parking lot.

Alek smiled and kissed her cheek before checking his phone, "Want to go get your brother and go for ice cream?" He asked softly.

Chloe bit her lip slightly, "There's a Dr. Lockheart in Cairn's who is quite god at it all."
