Meg stepped back upstairs into the flight ops room and looked over at Rhi.

Grace pushed April into a trauma room and got her started on the moniters.

The order for the air force pilots to return was given, despite the fact they hadn't found Kara.

Rhiann looked at Meg then walked over, "are you alright?" She asked, "what happened?"

Alex caught site of them and went to move when a nurse held him back.
"Sir, you know the deal, waiting room, please."
Alex groaned and shook his head.

Meg sighed, "There was a shooting downstairs. I'm fine." She said softly and looked out as the jets came back overhead, "Did they find her?"

Josh paced the waiting room, wanting to see April.

Grace glanced at the doctor as they stabalized April, "This is the job for the OR now. Get her up there."
"Yes, sir."

Rhiann sighed and shook her head, "no, there's no sign of her." She said quietly.

"You're going to wear a hole in the floor," Alex said as he leaned forwards in the chair, his head in his hands.

Meg blinked, "Then what the hell are they doing back?" Meg asked furiously.
Jeff turned, "Meg, SAR has been launched. A helicopter and another plane has gone out. THe fighters are needed here."

Josh sighed softly and looked at the ceiling.

Grace saw April go up into the elevator before going into the waiting room to talk to Alex and Gosh.

Rhiann looked at Jeff then back at Meg, putting a hand on her shoulder.

Alex leaned back in the chair, looking off ahead of him, "this day is just getting worse.."

Meg sighed softly and rubbed her head.

Grace stepped into the waiting room and glanced at Josh and Alex, biting her lip slightly.

Meg sighed, "I cant go home. Not now." She said and looked at Rhi.

Grace stepped forward, "She suffered a single gunshot wound to the chest. We stabalized her down here, but in the ED, there isnt much we can do. We've sent her upstairs to the OR. You'll have to go wait there. I'm sorry."

"You have to, too much stress is going to harm your baby, Meg," Rhiann said softly.

Alex sighed and nodded slightly, "thank you." He said then glanced at Josh.

Meg looked at her, "I'd be just as stressed if I was at home." She said and started to pace, "Has rapid response been called?"
Jeff nodded, "It's all taken care of Meg. We've RR and ambulances all over the place."

Grace just nodded and stepped back outside to help with the other patients.
Josh shut his eyes briefly.

Rhiann watched her friend, biting her lip silently.
Ben stepped into the room and looked over at them.

Alex looked at Josh then patted his arm lightly, "you coming?"

Meg stopped and glanced at Ben quickly, "They havn't found her, Ben." Meg said softly and glanced outside as the sun started to set.
Jeff glanced at Rhi and sighed softly.

Josh nodded, "Yeah." He said and followed him.

Ben sighed, "I don't care what they say, I'm going up. I can't wait for them to find her, they're taking too long.."
Rhiann bit her lip and sighed, sitting down.

Alex made his way through the hospital, stepping into the waiting room a while later.

Laura just stepped into the room, "You're not going anywhere, Lieutenant." She said and glanced at Meg and Rhi, "You two, get out of here. You're just taking up room. You too Lieutenant."
Meg blinked and glanced at Rhi, "Yes, ma'am." She said and headed back downstairs.

Josh looked down the hall towards the operating rooms.
