Rhiann stood up and followed Meg , biting her lip.
Ben shook his head stubbornly, looking off ahead of him.

Alex glanced up as the doctor walked towards them a while later.

Meg made her way downstairs.
Laura stepped up to Ben, "Now Lieutenant. You'll be called if you're needed."

Josh jumped up when he saw the doctor.

Rhiann looked at Meg then glanced behind, "Ben's not coming." She bit her lip, "he's going to get in trouble."
Ben shook his head, "sorry Commander, but I'm going nowhere."

"How is she?" Alex asked and walked over.
The doctor sighed and put his hands in his pockets, "I'm going to say this simply because I don't want to sugarcoat anything."
"She's going to die, isn't she," Alex said, his heart dropping.
"Right now, that is a likely result."

Meg sighed softly and put a hand on her stomach.
"Lieutenant, I suggest you listen to me now, get off of this command centre now. What we're now discussing is well beyond your security clearence and I promise you that if we hear anything on Lieutenant Wade I will personally call you." Laura said firmly.

Josh blinked a few times and tried to supress his anger and disapointment.

Rhiann put a hand on her friend's shoulder gently.
Ben closed his eyes for a moment then turned and walked out the room, slamming the door closed behind him.

"Can we see her?"
The doctor nodded, "she's comfortable now, we're going to keep a close eye on her and if she makes it through the night then there's definitely hope for her."

Meg offered a small smile and walked into the pilots rec room glancing around.
Laura cringed slightly before turning and getting to work.

Josh just nodded softly and stepped out to see April.

Rhiann sighed and sat down, rubbing the back of her neck.

Alex watched him then leaned against the wall, leaving them in private for a while.
April opened her eyes slightly as the nurses moved away from her bed, out the room. Blinking a few times, April looked up at the ceiling.

Meg glanced up as Ben walked in, "They'll find her, Ben." She said softly.

"You actually believe that?" Ben asked and sat in the chair in the corner, leaning his head back.

April looked at him then smiled lightly, squeezing his hand gently.

Meg studied his face for a moment, "Yeah, I do. Because knowing Kara, she'd want to come back and tell us the story of how the aliens took her before she died. Have some faith in her, Ben. She's a strong woman."

Josh smiled and tucked a strand of hair behind her ear.

Grace finished up with the last patients and walked back to find Dec.

Alek walked into the apartment, by now the early hours of the morning.

"I'm sorry I don't share your confidence with this," Ben said and sat up. "They should have found her by now."

April watched him, biting her lip slightly, "it's not good, is it?" She asked softly.

Dec sat on a seat in the hallway, half asleep.

Emily shifted from where she was sleeping lightly in their bed, Belle laying fast asleep next to her.

Meg sighed and tossed her hands up, going into the ladies lockers and bathrooms, finally deciding to scrub the blood off of her.

Josh kneeled down, "You'll be fine, April. I wont let anything happen to you."

Grace bit her lip and stepped up to him, putting a hand on his knee.

Alek closed the door quietly and looked into the bedroom.

"Don't take it out on Meg, Ben, she's just trying to help."
Ben got up and walked out the room again silently.
Rhiann sighed and stood, walking after Meg.

April watched him, tears forming in her eyes silently.

Dec opened his eyes and looked at her then smiled and rubbed his neck, "everything okay?"

Emily stirred before opening her eyes, she glanced over then blinked and sat up slightly, "hey." She said softly.

Meg got into the bathroom and started to scrub her hands. She looked down and saw blood on the floor and blinked a few times, feeling dizzy. She looked up at the mirror and blinked as everything started to go black. It took a moment to realize the blood was actually coming from her pants and she fell back, hitting her head on the floor.

Josh stroked her cheek gently, "You j-just have to be strong, okay?"

Grace smiled and touched his cheek gently, "Yeah. Come on, you need to sleep in a real bed." She said, feeling bad for leaving him there for several hours.

Alek smiled, "Hi." He said softly.

April closed her eyes tightly, "Josh I'm scared." She whispered and looked at him.
