Meg began pushing the jet back below the clouds, the jet being pushed around.
Jeff watched the stats on the jet from the command post, seeing it was struggling.

Alex sighed lightly, "anything else you need Charlie?"

Jeff walked over to Rhi, squeezing her hand gently before looking back.

Meg continued her SAR.

"That's all." Charlie said, "Want me to call when she's landed?"

Rhiann bit her lip and watched silently before glancing at Jeff.

Meg soon enoguh found the missing vessel, bring her jet to a hault as she hovered. She grinned and mentally ticked another thing off the testing list.
"Viper 02, angels 1, located missing vessel." She said, relaying the coordinates to the HMAS Anzac which was nearby.

Back at base Jeff couldnt help but grin at the news.
Josh shook his head as he watched the video from the Lightning looking down at the missing vessel.

Rhiann smiled lightly and watched the video silently.

Meg stayed above the vessel until the Anzac arrived and launched a helicopter. She pulled the jet around and headed back above the clouds.

Jeff smiled, "Mission accomplished." She said lightly.
Josh shook his head slightly, "Lightning isnt proven until it can fight."

Meg continued a few of the tests above the clouds.

Josh smiled, "There are a lot of tests that needs to be done before that jet can be posted." He said. He doubted Meg, since she moved away from being his wingman.

Meg reported back to base that she was at bingo fuel and had to return.
Jeff glanced at the weather, "Be advised Lieutenant, there is a cross wind on the runway now. Come into runway two." He said and glanced around at the charts.

Josh bit his lip as he watched the runway camera. A cross wind was exactly what Meg nearly crashed on the GW.

Meg pulled the jet down slightly, checking her stats. She guided the plane down, glancing at the charts for the cross wind.

Jeff watched closely as the jet smoothly touched on the runway. He sighed with relief as the jet came to a stop and began the taxi.

Meg pulled the jet into the hanger bay and shut down the engines.

Jeff pulled his headset off and grinned, "Some pilot."
Josh grinned and shook his head lightly.
