Rhiann glanced at the video, folding her arms.

Alex closed his eyes for a moment then sighed heavily and looked out the window.

Jeff glanced at Rhiann.
"This is Slick, requesting permission to launch on runway 2." Meg said professionally.
Jeff closed his eyes briefly, "Slick, from the hud, you have permission to launch."
Josh bit his lip.

Charlie sighed, "I've gotta go, she's launching."

Rhiann watched silently, biting her lip slightly.

"Okay," Alex said. "Thanks for letting me know anyway," he said before putting the phone down and looking over at April.
"Don't be mad at Charlie, he's just doing his job."
Alex grumbled as he sat next to her, "doesn't mean I have to like it."

Meg thrusted the jet forward and down the runway. She pulled the throttle slightly, the jet shifting against the wind, starting to shutter as it raced down the runway. Meg gulped for a moment, worried the jet wasnt going to launch but just as she was going to abort the plane went up. She continued to climb, moving through the clouds quickly.

Josh sighed as the jet took off and went through the clouds.

Charlie sighed and watched the jet move through the clouds after a rough moment. He sighed, "You'd best just come back, Kreager."

Meg was quickly above the storm and she smiled, "This is Slick. I am no above the storm." She said, prepping her jet for the tests.

Josh smiled when she heard she was above the storm, "Now she's just gotta get back down."

Rhiann smiled, "she'll be fine." She said lightly.

"I hate this storm," April complained and sighed.
Alex took her hand and glanced out the window.

Meg continued to do her tests, glancing at the charts.
Jeff glanced up as a coms operator came towards him. "Sir, we've got a missing vessel off the coast. We've been asked if we can provide any aircraft."
Jeff sighed and glanced over at Josh and Rhiann.

Jeff blinked, "No, Rhi, dont." He said, "We'll send the Lightning. Just gotta talk to Woods." He said and contacted Charlie.

"Ignore him!" April called, "he's grumpy."

Meg pushed foward with the task, even though there was no clearence from Alex yet.
