Meg looked at the floor briefly, "The jet had to be tested in rough conditions to be carrier deployed anyway. I simply got more done."

Jeff playfully picked her up and ran her to the car before they got too wet.

Alex groaned in frustration then stood up, "good for you." He complained.

Meg rubbed her forehead slightly, "You want me to leave the navy, Alex?" She asked, her voice low so Zander wouldnt heard, "Is that what you want? Because you know damn well that this is a dangerous job and going out in a storm is probably the least of it all. What's gunna happen if I get sent back out? To a war zone?"

Jeff grinned and opened the car door with his foot and set her inside.

Meg blinked and stood up, watching him but remaining silently. She'd been afraid of this her whole career.

Jeff grinned and bopped her nose playfully and ran to jump into the drivers side.

Alex walked over to the window, folding his arms, he looked up at the sky and sighed heavily.

Rhiann giggled and watched him, doing her seat belt up.

April shifted closer to him gently.

Meg looked at the floor briefly before stepping up to him and cautiously put a hand on his arm.
She felt tiny standing next to him like that, being well shorter than he was.

Meg dropped her hand lightly, "I did the research before I went up, Alex. I knew exactly where to go and how to get through it. I wasnt flying blind."
